SATC2

This is a very, very bad movie. The ponderous exposition, the wisp of a plot, the unaware orientalism - is anyone saying it was tongue-in-cheek? One can only hope. But how glad I am that I have seen it. It puts new heart into me. I decided, around the time that the architect hove into view, that I had to go home immediately and finish my book. It would be so hard to be worse. Interestingly, the stereotype of abundant sexual otherness that could have been used if Samantha's guy had been Middle Eastern was entirely ignored - I guess because it is crossing some sort of cultural line? Do any of the episodes have any of them sleeping with men of any ethnicity except Jewish and wasp? It was bad, but it was funny. I went with Tara and we got Looked At by other people in the cinema when we laughed.
